What is thermal paper made from？

How to keep thermal paper from fading？
Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight: Thermal cash register pos paper roll is very sensitive to heat and UV rays, and will fade faster when exposed to sunlight or high temperatures. Store thermal paper sheets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
